Former Coast Guard Program Manager and Chief Warrant Officer Brad Smith needed a way to keep the loving connection with his children as strong as his commitment to protecting our nation. The ABCandMe project is the tangible outcome of this effort. We helped Brad create and publish a series of digital and physical products including an eBook app with music, hardcover books, coloring books and posters.

Working with Brad and his illustrator, myself and Hybrid web developers Walt Grayson, Colby Whitted and Chris DaSie created ePub files for Amazon Kindle, digital book files for Android sold on Google Play, and songs sold on iTunes. We also built a Shopify website and blog. I took over this project when it was about ⅓ of the way complete and it was quite a challenge to finish but we successfully launched in August of 2019.
Shopify provides a great deal of control out of the box, but we customized the admin a little further to make it easier for Brad to manage social media and product displays. Brad now has a beautiful, responsive e-commerce site with a half dozen products available and more on the way.
